WP3 - To update the molecular epidemiology picture of BTV and of potential novel viruses (including EHDV and atypical BTV strains) and phylo-geography

Main objectives
- Characterisation of BTV and EHDV strains circulating in the study areas including GU and HS from WP1
- Assessment of the phylo-geography of the isolated strains
- Update of the current existing virus collections and sequence datasets (held by consortium partners)
- Detection of the viro- and sero-prevalence by using a new IgM serological tool.
